QTS and Lancium have reached an agreement that could provide the city of Turkey with up to $15.5 million as their data center development in Hall County moves forward. The package includes $10.5 million in payments through 2032 and up to $5 million for roads, utilities, drainage and other infrastructure projects.

The companies also plan a one-time contribution to replace Turkey’s aging water tower and improve its sewer system. City Manager Lynette Findley said the city’s infrastructure is already strained by population growth and limited capacity. Ryan Kuithe, a senior vice president of operations, said the agreement is intended to build community trust and is part of the companies’ broader commitment to invest $250 million in Texas water infrastructure over the next decade. No specific timeline has been announced for the upgrades, although work has begun on the data center development in Hall County.
