
Oklahoma man died Monday at Meta's data center site after being hit by pickup truck
An Oklahoma man, Chris Lawe, working as a project manager at Meta's data center construction site in Lebanon, Indiana, died after being struck by a pickup truck. Chris Lawe, a 33-year-old project manager from Ponca City, Oklahoma, tragically died on Monday evening after being hit by a pickup truck at Meta's sprawling 1,500-acre data center construction campus in Lebanon, Indiana. The incident occurred off Ind. 32 on the city's west side, within Lebanon's LEAP Lebanon Innovation and Research district.
On-site medical personnel immediately administered life-saving measures. First responders continued these efforts upon arrival, but Mr. Lawe was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene. The Lebanon Police Department released a prepared statement confirming the details of the incident.
