
Dubuque County residents can speak out on data center moratorium

The Dubuque County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to hold a meeting to discuss a potential four-month temporary moratorium on data centers. A resolution proposing the moratorium is included on the board's published agenda for the Tuesday meeting.
Residents attending the meeting in person will be allowed to provide comments regarding data centers and the proposed moratorium. This public discussion follows a previous board meeting where numerous residents voiced their opposition to data center developments. Currently, no formal applications for data center construction have been submitted in Dubuque County. The meeting will take place at 3:30 p.m. at the Dubuque County Courthouse.
