One person sustained serious injuries while working on the roof of a Google Data Center construction site located at 411 Pegasus Parkway in LaGrange, Georgia, on Friday, April 3, 2026, at approximately 2:47 p.m.
The LaGrange Fire Department responded to the incident, discovering the worker injured about 50 feet above ground. Due to the elevated location and complexity of the rescue, additional resources, including Tower 31, an 85-foot aerial platform, were requested. Five personnel from the LaGrange Fire Department, along with Troup County AMR and Google Data Center's on-site response team, provided immediate medical care and stabilized the patient. The injured individual was then carefully secured and lowered to the ground using the aerial platform.
Emergency personnel continued advanced medical care on the ground before Air Evac 77 transported the patient to a regional trauma center, where they were reported to be in serious yet stable condition. LaGrange officials praised the dedication of the emergency personnel involved in the aerial rescue, and the LaGrange Fire Department encouraged construction workers to prioritize safety protocols at elevated heights to prevent future injuries.
