Kalamazoo city commissioners to vote on data center moratorium

Kalamazoo city commissioners are scheduled to vote on a proposed one-year moratorium on data center development. If approved, Kalamazoo would join several other West Michigan communities, including Oshtemo Township, Texas Township, Portage, and Marshall, that have already implemented similar pauses on Big Tech projects.
