County Executive Sam Page announced the proposed regulations on Tuesday, emphasizing that they are intended to safeguard residents while simultaneously establishing clear expectations for developers. Although there are no data center projects currently pending in these unincorporated areas, the county is proactively setting these guidelines. Page stated, "We take seriously clean-air, clean water and noise pollution," underscoring the county's commitment to environmental protection and quality of life for its citizens.
