RELLIS data center getting repurposed with new ownership
ThisWay Global, owned by Texas A&M graduate Angela Hood, purchased the bankrupt RELLIS Campus Data and Research Center in Bryan out of bankruptcy. The facility, which was under construction, will be repurposed as an innovation and training center.
ThisWay Global has acquired the unfinished RELLIS Campus Data and Research Center on the Texas A&M RELLIS campus in Bryan after the project’s previous ownership entered bankruptcy. Company owner Angela Hood said the facility will no longer operate solely as a data center and will instead become an innovation and training center.
Angela and Justin Hood are overseeing the restart and repurposing effort with Lionel Branscomb and Jeff Johnston of DempseyGill. Planned features include a digital twin lab.
