Council Members Kelvin Pless, Nelson Brown, Kris Bowden, Terrence Clemmons, and Daryl Dowdell voted in favor of the moratorium, while Council Member Frank Ceresoli cast the sole dissenting vote. The temporary halt in development is intended to allow for a thoughtful and thorough process in crafting new regulations specific to data centers.
