Protesters gather in Dunn County to protest proposed data center

Protesters in Dunn County, Wisconsin are opposing a proposed $1.6 billion data center. The data center was brought to Menomonie City Council by an unknown company operating under the alias "balloonist LLC". After residents voiced concerns, Menomonie's mayor announced the project is "on pause". Protest organizer Blaine Halverson says the fight is not over, and that protests are planned in other communities considering data center development.
