Montana officials are accepting public comments through Oct. 29 on a proposed well near Broadview that would serve Quantica’s Big Sky Campus, a large data center under development. The well would draw from the Madison aquifer and is expected to supply about 150,000 gallons of water per day during construction and 20,000 gallons per day for drinking water afterward, with potential use for cooling.

The Montana Department of Environmental Quality is overseeing the comment process. The broader broadcast also reports on herbicide flights near Dillon, federal drought assistance for producers in 16 Montana counties and nearly $9 million in federal grants for rural ambulance services.
