Piqua voters will consider a proposed charter amendment on Nov. 3, 2026, that would ban data center construction in the city. Save Piqua, a resident group opposing Meta's data center project approved by the Piqua City Commission in November 2025, qualified the measure for the ballot through a petition campaign.

The data center dispute also prompted a separate special election on whether to recall three Piqua city commissioners. Petitioners cited concerns about public health, safety and welfare, while the commissioners have continued to support the project. The guide, compiled by This Local Life, also summarizes Miami County races, tax levies and other ballot measures.
