Sarah Morris, a third and fourth-grade teacher at Holly Ridge Elementary School, expressed shock at the size of the bonus. While educators anticipated some increase due to infrastructure development, the magnitude of the bonus was unexpected. Morris noted that the "jaw-dropping bonus" has made her work life easier, bringing a "pep in your step."

Scott Wilcher, head football coach at Mangum High School, also highlighted the positive impact, stating that his retirement savings have doubled because of the bonus, easing concerns for his daughter's future.
