The Virginia Beach Development Authority approved the design review for a Globalinx data center on Corporate Landing Parkway. The project was presented during the authority's monthly meeting, where city project development planner Pamela Whitham showed officials renderings of the facility and its expected appearance from Corporate Landing.

The planned building will use primarily glass and concrete, occupy just under 74,000 square feet and include 14 parking spaces. City staff said the design meets Corporate Landing's criteria, and the motion passed without opposition. Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
