Botetourt board approves waterline project for Dal-Nita Hills subdivision

The Botetourt County Board has given its approval for a new waterline project to serve the residents of the Dal-Nita Hills subdivision in Daleville, Virginia. The primary motivation for this infrastructure upgrade is to address long-standing issues with water pressure and quality that residents experience from their current community well.
The decision to proceed with the waterline project came despite underlying concerns that the new water infrastructure would also benefit a proposed data center campus in the area. Lumsden Associates, a civil engineering and land surveying firm, prepared a map for the Western Virginia Water Authority, illustrating the planned installation route for the new waterline.
