Gov: Middlesex Township zoning hearing board, Middlesex Township supervisors, Middlesex Township Board of Supervisors
Residents of Middlesex Township, Pennsylvania, have initiated a legal challenge against the proposed Pennsylvania Digital 1, or PAX-1, hyperscale data center complex. In a filing submitted to the zoning hearing board, an attorney representing local residents alleged that the Middlesex Township Board of Supervisors engaged in illegal spot zoning. This alleged action, according to the residents, improperly facilitated the advancement of plans for the PAX-1 data center, a $15 billion joint venture between Pennsylvania Data Center Partners and PowerHouse Data Centers, planned for a site off Country Club Road.
