Digi Power X Inc. has announced the launch of the next phase for US Data Centers, Inc. (USDC), an independent AI infrastructure platform. This initiative, co-founded by former Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg who will serve as a Senior Advisor, aims to develop, manufacture, and globally deploy modular Tier III AI data centers. The strategic move allows Digi Power X to concentrate on energy-optimized digital infrastructure operations, while USDC will focus on the manufacturing and deployment of its proprietary ARMS™ (AI-Ready Modular Solution) platform. The ARMS™ platform is designed for rapid deployment of high-density AI computing infrastructure, addressing the industry's challenge with the slow pace of traditional data center construction. Each ARMS unit is a self-contained, Tier III-certified modular data center supporting advanced GPU clusters for AI workloads, with a reported system already set up at Digi Power X’s Alabama site. USDC plans to generate revenue through direct infrastructure manufacturing and deployment for enterprise, sovereign, and hyperscale customers, as well as colocation tenants. Michel Amar, Chairman and CEO of Digi Power X, expressed excitement about the partnership with Hans Vestberg, highlighting Vestberg's experience in global telecommunications. Vestberg emphasized the massive market shift due to accelerating global demand for AI computing and USDC's opportunity to lead in building next-generation infrastructure. USDC recently completed an initial capital raise valuing the entity at approximately US$10 million, with Digi Power X remaining its majority shareholder.
