Salix residents gather to voice opposition to potential data center

Residents in Salix, Iowa, held a public gathering on Monday, June 15, to protest a potential data center project slated for their community. Over 100 people attended the event, held in the city park, to express their strong opposition to the proposed development, with some attendees wearing shirts stating "farmland not data centers."

Former U.S. Representative Steve King and Iowa Senator Kevin Alons spoke against the data center development during the gathering.
