Urbana City Council sets framework for committee to study data center impact

The Urbana City Council has formed a new review and research committee to thoroughly investigate the potential impacts of a proposed data center project. The committee is tasked with conducting a detailed "impact case study," examining critical areas such as water supply and pressure, strain on the electrical grid, environmental conditions, and local infrastructure.
