Nebius has addressed concerns from the Greater Birmingham Humane Society (GBHS) regarding a proposed data center located off Lakeshore Parkway in Birmingham. The company announced that an independent sound study was conducted, which concluded the facility would not produce noise exceeding the area's current background levels. Last week, leaders from the GBHS expressed worries that noise from the data center could adversely affect the animals housed at their shelter. Nebius stated that sound mitigation measures would be implemented to ensure any noise from the facility remains within today's ambient levels, working as designed.
