
Ohio Poll Shows Strong Voter Opposition to Data Center Construction
A new FOX News survey found that Ohioans prioritize inflation as their top concern for the fall elections. The poll also revealed significant opposition to data center construction, with 65 percent of Ohio voters opposing such projects in their area.
A recent FOX News survey of 1,015 Ohio registered voters, conducted between May 28 and June 1, indicates that inflation and high prices are the primary concern for Ohioans heading into the fall elections, with 43 percent citing it as their most important issue. Health care, immigration, and political divisions followed in priority.
The poll also addressed the topic of AI data centers, which have garnered significant attention across the state. The results show strong statewide opposition to data center construction, with 65 percent of voters opposing development in their area, compared to 32 percent who favor it. This opposition is consistent across political affiliations, with 72 percent of Democrats, 64 percent of independents, and 59 percent of Republicans expressing disapproval.
