OG&E to power three new Google data centers in Muskogee, Stillwater

OG&E announced an agreement to provide electricity to three new Google data centers in Muskogee and Stillwater, Oklahoma. According to OG&E President and CEO Sean Trauschke, the deal ensures economic growth while protecting current customers, as Google will bear 100% of the costs for grid connection and power generation. Will Conkling from Google emphasized the partnership's commitment to energy innovation and ratepayer protection, noting Google will also make power generation capacity available from two solar facilities under construction. Governor Kevin Stitt highlighted Oklahoma's reliable energy supply as a factor attracting long-term investments like Google's. The Electric Service Agreements, Capacity Purchase Agreements, and a new large-load tariff are slated for submission to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission in the coming days, requiring the commission's formal approval.
