Clinton City Council to hold public meeting on data center ordinance

Mayor Scott Maddaison has called for an open public meeting in Clinton, Iowa, to discuss a proposed data center ordinance. The meeting will involve citizens of Clinton and members of the City Council to facilitate public discourse on the matter.

The ordinance is directly related to a proposed hyperscale data center by QTS, which, if approved, would be the largest of its kind in Iowa, spanning an area equivalent to 832 football fields.
