Memphis residents fight Elon Musk's data center pollution

Critics, including community members, claim the pollution levels from xAI's operations exceed those of the Memphis International Airport. The community, primarily a majority-Black city, is reportedly experiencing severe health consequences. Children in the area are said to have the highest rates of emergency room visits for respiratory illnesses in Tennessee, a situation residents fear will only worsen due to the ongoing emissions.
