Ridgway Township passes data center amendment

The Ridgway Township Supervisors held their monthly meeting on Tuesday, where they enacted Resolution No. 5-2026. This measure is a curative amendment specifically concerning data center applications within the township. The amendment's immediate effect is to implement a 180-day moratorium on the acceptance of new data center applications. This temporary halt is intended to provide the Township with sufficient time to research and draft a comprehensive ordinance. The goal is to have this new ordinance ready and approved to govern future data center construction once the 180-day period concludes.
