Concurrently, the commissioners are advancing updates to the Miami County Zoning Resolution, which will for the first time incorporate specific provisions for data center developments. These revisions are designed to ensure thorough consideration of potential impacts from future projects before any approvals are granted. The updated zoning resolution, which covers most unincorporated areas of Miami County, is nearing completion and is anticipated to be presented to the commissioners for final approval in the coming months.
