The New Albany City Council's Development and Annexation committee, comprising council members Adam Dickey, Chris FitzGerald, and Greg Phipps, recently reviewed a proposed city-wide data center moratorium ordinance.
The committee's action follows the ordinance's initial reading by the full council. During their meeting, the committee received updates from Scott Wood, director of the plan commission, and gathered feedback from local residents. The ordinance has now been moved out of committee and is slated for reconsideration by the city council on July 6.
