The York Charter Township Board of Trustees has adopted a 6-month moratorium on the zoning review and approval of large-scale commercial data center development and construction in the township. The purpose of the new Ordinance No. 167, the Data Center Moratorium Ordinance, is to temporarily halt these data center projects while the township reviews its policies. The ordinance has been published and is available for public inspection at the York Township Clerk's Office and on the township's website.
