Plans are moving forward for a large artificial intelligence data center in Weld County, Colorado. Global AI has purchased about 500 acres of land in the area that was previously used by Carestream Health and Kodak. The site already has industrial infrastructure in place, which the developer says will help with development.

Plans are moving forward for a large artificial intelligence data center in Weld County after a developer confirmed the northern Colorado property sale. Developer Martin Lind said Global AI purchased about 500 acres in Weld County for $15.6 million in December. The site, once home to Carestream Health and previously used by Kodak, already has industrial infrastructure in place, which Lind said helps with development.
