Pamela DeLancy, the Democratic nominee for Georgia's 10th Congressional District, held a meet and greet event in Athens, Georgia, where she detailed her campaign platform. DeLancy, an Army nurse veteran and cancer survivor, highlighted healthcare reform as a primary issue, drawing on her extensive personal and professional background. She criticized the high cost of pharmaceuticals and advocated for policies that prioritize public well-being over corporate profits, also suggesting local food partnerships to benefit District 10's agricultural sector.

A significant part of DeLancy's platform involves her strong opposition to data center development in Georgia. She questioned the economic benefits of data centers, noting their low job creation (around 30 jobs per center) contrasted with their substantial resource consumption (300,000 gallons of water). DeLancy condemned the use of fresh water for cooling these systems in District 10 and voiced concerns about corporations using eminent domain to acquire property from disadvantaged farmers who lack the means to contest such actions. She explicitly stated that data centers "don't have a place" in the district and supports implementing a moratorium.

DeLancy is campaigning against Republican nominee State Rep. Houston Gaines. She characterized herself as a dedicated public servant, not a career politician, emphasizing her grassroots campaign, which she believes represents the people's interests rather than those of "huge corporations" that support her opponent. DeLancy underscored her 39 years of military service and commitment to serving all constituents, irrespective of their political or religious affiliations.
