Despite steady rain, protesters chanted slogans like 'No data centers in our small town' and 'PA is not for sale,' ringing cowbells and garnering support from passing motorists.
The rally near the Montour County Veterans Memorial was organized by Concerned Citizens of Montour County. According to organizer Sam Burleigh, the group started with five local residents concerned about data center proposals and has since expanded into a coalition connecting communities statewide.
