Heat exchangers are used to manage heat generated by data centers and other processes. With the growth of artificial intelligence, the industry is poised to reach more than $30 billion in the next 10 years. To meet the demand, Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) is expanding its heat exchanger performance evaluation capabilities with a new facility designed to evaluate heat loads up to five megawatts. SwRI’s Large-Scale Heat Exchanger Test Facility (LS-HXTF) helps clients achieve industry standards. The facility can also perform a wide range of thermal performance tests.
