Gov: Johnson County Board of Supervisors, Johnson County City Leaders
City leaders throughout Johnson County, and the board of supervisors, discussed creating a group to share their positions on data centers and establish guiding principles. "This is a complex issue and a regional approach matters because data centers do not operate within the boundaries of a single jurisdiction," Nancy Bird, president & CEO of Greater Iowa City, Inc., told the room when presenting the idea of this group. One idea shared was requiring anyone in the group to not be under a non-disclosure agreement with a data center developer. https://cbs2iowa.com/news/local/johnson-county-leaders-discuss-creating-group-focusing-on-data-centers #datacenter #datacenters ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow Iowa's News Now on our social media pages: Iowa’s News Now on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/IowasNewsNow/ Iowa’s News Now on Twitter: https://twitter.com/iowasnewsnow For more news & weather: https://cbs2iowa.com/ Send us news tips @ news@cbs2iowa.com #iowanewsnow #iowanews #localnews #KGAN #news
