STARC, a Brunswick, Maine-based company specializing in temporary wall systems for commercial operations, including data centers, marked the grand opening of its new 100,000-square-foot facility at Brunswick Landing. The expansion, which took approximately one year to complete and will incorporate robotics into its production process, more than doubles the company's manufacturing capacity.

David LaFlamme, STARC's VP of Manufacturing, stated to WGME that the move from a 45,000-square-foot space allows for increased efficiency and further growth. This timing is particularly beneficial as demand for data center construction is rising nationally, coinciding with Maine's recent initiatives to encourage more data center development within the state.
