The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has scheduled a public hearing for Tuesday, April 28, at 10:00 a.m. to gather public comments on a proposed air pollution control permit revision for the Mount Pleasant Data Centers, identified as a Microsoft facility, located in Racine County. The permit application outlines an "increase in size of fire pumps, construction of fire pumps, modification of fuel usage and emission limits and other changes to permit conditions" for Air Pollution Control Operation Permit 25230249A-F03. Interested participants must register in advance to attend the virtual hearing, which will be accessible online and via telephone. Village staff had requested a later hearing time to better accommodate working residents, but the DNR was unable to fulfill this request due to internal scheduling constraints.
