After a packed town hall nearly two weeks ago where residents pressed Nye County leaders for more information and transparency about how a proposed data center could affect water, power and life in Pahrump, the developer behind the Manse Technology Campus changed course on how it would address the public.

Developers working on the 900-acre project along State Route 160 were originally planning to hold an in-person Q&A session. Instead, they released a self-contained informational video on the project’s website, saying it was a better way to explain their plans.

Sean Delasandro, a developer on the Manse Technology Campus, said the decision was made after the overflow crowd at a forum held two Saturdays ago at the Nye County Commission chambers.
