The Madison County Plan Commission has formally recommended an extension of the current moratorium on data center development for an additional six months. This decision was made after a meeting at the Anderson Public Library, where several residents, including Tandy Jones, voiced support for prolonging the moratorium, with some calling for a full year's extension.
Attorney Jeff Graham was present to explain the rules for public comment during the proceedings.
