Several Statesville residents spoke before the council, advocating for increased coordination and transparency between Iredell County and its various municipalities in managing data center expansion. One resident urged, "I hope we've got 5 more top right of the municipality's will come together in this county and let's set some guidelines that everybody can live with and we'll have transferred to know what's going on in this no one after."
