Residents have posted on apps like Ring, describing a constant low-frequency hum that can be heard up to five miles away in Sterling. Some residents likened the noise to a helicopter hovering continuously. One resident also reported seeing black smoke emanating from the data center. The facility has been identified as one of several Cloud HQ data centers in the vicinity.
