Atlanta-based digital infrastructure developer DC BLOX has filed a lawsuit in federal court against the Nashville government over a recently enacted moratorium on data center permits. The company, which is seeking to construct a tech facility next to the Nashville Zoo, alleges that the temporary permitting pause constitutes a "targeted attack" against its development efforts.

The lawsuit was filed on August 11, following the Nashville Metro Council's passage of the moratorium. DC BLOX aims to challenge the legality and intent behind the council's decision, which temporarily halts the issuance of permits for new data center projects in the area.
