Illinois lawmakers regulate AI usage but not the buildings that power it

Illinois lawmakers are currently focusing their regulatory efforts on the usage of artificial intelligence within the state. However, they have not yet extended similar regulatory measures to the physical data center infrastructure and buildings required to power AI technologies.
