Aurora meeting on data center moratorium delayed

Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman postponed a scheduled vote on an indefinite moratorium on data center development because two Aurora City Council members were unable to attend the special meeting.
The council is now expected to consider the moratorium at its regular meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 26, 2026. No final decision on the proposed moratorium had been made at the time of the report.
