
Developer still pursuing controversial southeast Raleigh data center
Colorado-based RadiusDC is continuing its pursuit of a controversial data center project in southeast Raleigh despite significant community opposition. The company recently withdrew its annexation petition for the site following resident criticism, but its CEO stated they are not abandoning the project.
Colorado-based RadiusDC is reportedly still moving forward with plans for a controversial data center in southeast Raleigh, North Carolina, despite considerable community opposition. The proposed facility, located near the Parrish Manor mobile home park along Jones Sausage Road, had drawn widespread criticism from local residents and advocates.
RadiusDC recently withdrew an annexation petition for the project site after facing strong objections from the community. However, RadiusDC CEO Mike Krza clarified in a statement to the Triangle Business Journal that the company is not abandoning the development.
Krza reiterated RadiusDC's commitment to the project, which he described as crucial infrastructure for Raleigh and the surrounding region.
