The city provided documents from two planning and zoning meetings in 2025 and 2026, outlining the rezoning process for the land. These records name "Evolve Energy Partners, LLC" in 2025 and "EP Tuscaloosa LLC" in 2026, with the latter entity listing a Dallas address. Brookwood officials stated that these documents pertain to the property intended for development by a subsidiary of that entity, despite no specific filings directly naming Applied Digital.
The public records request also brought to light new inquiries about a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) signed by the Brookwood mayor related to the project.
