Rural Water District 2 rejects request from data center developer

The Grady County Rural Water District 2 last week denied a request from Aligned Data Centers for water and wastewater services. The data center developer had purchased land just outside of Amber, Oklahoma, and submitted a request in late July for 80,000 gallons of water and 22,000 gallons of wastewater from the rural district. The district's rejection of this essential service could significantly impact Aligned Data Centers' plans for the new facility.
