This legal intervention led to the cancellation of a scheduled presentation by the developer and a subsequent planning commission vote.
During the public comment segment of the meeting, an overwhelming majority of speakers expressed strong opposition to the proposed data center projects. One individual, Josh Stevens, who voiced support for the data centers on the grounds of property rights, was met with jeers from the audience.
O'Neill previously stated his intent to develop his property and his willingness to expend significant resources to do so. However, residents remain committed to protecting their homes and continuing their fight against the developments. The date for the forthcoming court hearing has not yet been set.
