PNK Group, a data center developer based in New York City, has presented a community benefit plan worth up to $4.1 million to Gregg Township supervisors in Union County, Pennsylvania. This proposal comes as the company seeks a curative amendment and conditional use approval to permit data centers within the commercial manufacturing zoning district at 198 Enterprise Blvd. in Allenwood. The plan was outlined during a public hearing on Monday, July 20, 2026.
The detailed benefit package includes $500,000 designated for education, workforce training, and professional retraining initiatives. Additionally, PNK Group has allocated between $1.2 million and $1.6 million for the purchase of a local fire truck. Significant investments are also proposed for Susquehanna Riverfront improvements, totaling $1.6 million, with an additional $300,000 for ongoing maintenance. Finally, $100,000 is earmarked to support youth sports programs in the community. The township supervisors are currently reviewing the application.
