Several companies, including Meta, Google, and Lambda, have pledged over $1 billion in data center investments in Kansas City. In St. Louis, TierPoint plans to open a $150 million data center, and there are proposals for two data centers in Montgomery County that have garnered local support. An Amazon Web Services data center is also in talks for Montgomery County.
