While residents believed August 5th was the final deadline for a vote, supervisors clarified that the actual deadline is August 23rd, adding to public skepticism.
Many residents expressed strong opposition to the PAX-1 project, with one individual stating, "We don't want it. And so I'm really happy to see the meeting canceled. I hope they're all canceled. I hope we run them out of town because it's a matter of trust." Supervisors declined further comment on the postponement. The rescheduled meeting is tentatively set for August 19th, with Middlesex Elementary School mentioned as a potential location, pending an official announcement.
