A third data center is officially coming to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mayor Tiffany O'Donnell announced that the new 100,000 square-foot facility complies with the city's existing zoning regulations.

This new center, described by Mayor O'Donnell as about half the size of a Super Target, will be located north of Highway 30. It will be smaller than two other data centers currently planned for the area near the Eastern Iowa Airport.

Mayor O'Donnell emphasized that data centers align with Cedar Rapids' identity as an industrial community and its future direction.
