Crusoe, McCarthy Building Companies and DPR Construction representatives joined local business and nonprofit leaders at the Warrenton Elks Lodge on Oct. 16 for a Construction Inclusion Week event called “Fellowship Friday.” The gathering was intended to help data center construction stakeholders build relationships with local organizations and identify opportunities to support the community.

McCarthy project manager Jackie Rivera said the companies expect to be involved in Warrenton for about three years and want their presence to have a positive local impact. Elks representative Bob Bray acknowledged negativity surrounding the Crusoe data center, while Greater Warren County Economic Development Council consultant Steve Etcher emphasized the anticipated economic activity and construction-related spending. Crusoe community liaison Bobby Spoonster thanked the Elks for supporting the project and hosting the event.
